I nursed both of my girls exclusively for 18 months each. I totally feel your pain! Best wishes to you and your precious new arrival!

Oh the never ending nursing. Do I remember them. The toddler only weaned at 18 months, my poor nipples.

Yeah, I tandem nursed my two, so I had both of them on me!! Still, once those first days pass, it’s super sweet and I miss those times now. I cried when Sage weaned….knowing that part of my mama days was gone forever.
But yeah, that sleep dep is relentless! I remember Dug looking at a mattress commercial on TV once in those early baby days and saying, “I know I have babies at home. I’m not looking at the hot girl in the ad anymore, I’m lusting after the mattress and thinking how much I used to love to sleep in!”
I also remember both kids as newborns trying to nurse on him! I was so exhausted I was seriously wishing his weren’t just decorative, but functional. Nature’s cruel joke.
