If I read the book, chances are I will be disappointed in the movie.
That’s why I’ve stayed away from “vlogging”.
I’ve been worried I won’t live up to your imagination. You come here, you read, you develop a specific sounding voice for me, you imagine my teeth really big and white, and you most often picture me in a silk bathrobe smoking a cigar. I don’t even live up to my own imagination. In my imagination I have dragon wings, a sailor’s mouth, a superhero eye mask tattooed over my face, and a designer diaper bag over my right shoulder.
I’ve always been the type of person who imagines characters in a book to be a thousand times different then they end up on a movie or television screen. I usually spend the first half of the movie thinking that the director and casting people got the whole thing wrong, and then finally start to buy into it when the movie only has twenty minutes left.
However, I am also trying to be the type of person that says yes to scary things…
so I did…
to a new YouTube network called MomPulse.
They invited me on board…
I said yes.
I hope they don’t kick me out.

I’m hoping it will be like Harry Potter: for a little while Hermione and Ron look bizarre to you, the Hippogriffs are too small, and Snape isn’t covered in an oily sheen. Then the next thing you know, you’re camping out overnight so you can be the first to see the next movie.
Come see.
It will make you cooler.
Oh you just made me spit coffee, girl…
and we now how precious the coffee is.
I’ll totally camp out.

OK, so thank you so much for making me smile. I’ve been working all week non-stop to meet deadlines and my head is splitting. Seeing your beautiful face made me smile. I would subscribe but I subscribed a long time ago and I just have to say only one thing would have made your coffee better, if it were being drunk out of a Throat punching Truth about Motherhood mug:) MIss you.
