What am I trying to say?

I’ve been keeping something from you.

That’s probably why you haven’t seen me around as much lately.

I’ve felt blocked- unable to express myself as I usually do.

I’ve promised to keep it a secret…

until now.

Now I can tell you.

And I’m so happy that I can.

You’ve bore witness to my joys, my hi-jinks, my loss, my tragedies.

So it was hard not to tell you about this months ago- not to scream it from the mountain tops. Or at least scream it from my desk, because you all know I would find climbing a mountain way too much work.

We wanted to surprise Hot Nerd’s parents, who are flying in at this moment. And we wanted to wait a “safe” amount of time.

I guess what I’m trying to say is this…

    I have always loved reading your stories, but its always nice because your son and my daughter are so close in age. And I, too, have “not breakfast” cooking. :) Great picture!
