Springtime, Naked Wrists, and a JORD Wood Watch.
My wrist has been naked for seven years.
I used to wear watches… bangles… jelly bracelets… all kinds of wrist accessory-type things.
The past seven years however, have been wrist accessory-less. Why? Because I’ve almost always had a baby and/or toddler in my arms, and carrying squirming little people around with a watch on seemed uncomfortable.
Besides, who needed a watch when my iPhone was always in my back pocket?
Today I am happy to announce to you that my naked wrist days are gone.
My children are no longer toddlers…
Spring has arrived, I want to be out and about with my kids, and I want to be less “connected” digitally when I’m with them.
The wrist accessory Gods have chosen this time to send me the perfect gift:
Did I mention it’s made of wood?
It’s so much more unique than the watches I wore in my pre-motherhood days. I adore it. I feel earthy and elegant at the same time.
Even it’s backside is lovely:
JORD wood watches are the perfect blend of function and class. My new watch has a good amount of structure to it without weighing 25 lbs, it’s splash proof (not meant to be submerged), and the Swarovski crystals catch the light beautifully. I can’t tell you how happy I am with it… well, clearly I CAN tell you – I AM telling you.
I love it!
It would make a great Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Happy Spring, Happy Anniversary, I’m Sorry I Screwed Up, Just Because I Love You, Happy You Don’t Have to Carry Babies Around Anymore, etc., present.
My wrist is no longer naked.
and my phone is staying out of my hands longer when I’m playing with my kids. I don’t need it. Anyone who wants to get a hold of me can wait just a little bit… and I already know what time it is…
You should go check out the full line of JORD watches here.
I may have a giveaway coming up in the very very very near future, and you’ll want to know which one you like most.
DISCLOSURE: JORD gifted me this beautiful watch, but I was not paid for this post. All opinions are my own, and we all know my opinion is priceless.
