If I Let Him Wear This Will I “Turn” Him?

Impromptu video before heading into Target with my toddler.  He insisted on wearing this… I try not to impose stereotypes on my kids when they are this young, so I let him wear it.

When my son was that age, he insisted on wearing a Halloween bucket (used for begging candy out of strangers one day of the year that’s okay) on his head. Same size and shape as the bucket on your son’s head, only bright orange. My son is now 10 years old. So far, he’s turned out okay. He hasn’t turned into a fun size Snickers. But he is rather obsessed with watching The Walking Dead. (Bad mom? No. He’s the only one in the house who will watch it with me!!!!)

  2. He’s quiet. That is all that matters 🙂

  3. Yay! Cool dude indeed…. following his rugged individuality without a care for what others think. Nice little political twist there. I hope the right wing religious anti-animal cracker zealots don’t come down on you :).

Ha! Adorable! I can totally see him starting a new fad!

I want to eat him up. Like a cracker.

It’s important that we support our children in all their decisions. Even if they want to be animal crackers.

  7. You don’t even understand how hard I laughed when I watched this. Thank you!

HA!!! I was wondering what was coming, but definitely didn’t expect that!

I nominated you for a blog award, which I realized you’re likely too big to accept, but I thought I’d let you know about it anyway ( http://www.happyasjustamom.com/im-shinin/ ). Thanks for such great writing 🙂
