F*ck That – A Guided Meditation That Finally Works For Me
My husband has turned into a meditation pusher, and while I like to tell myself I don’t need it, my panic attacks, insomnia, and intense left eye twitch tell a different story. I’m also the the guided meditation type – I need someone to lead me. If I’m left to my own devices, I start making grocery lists in my mind, counting flying monkeys, and generally stressing out about de-stressing.
I have been gently forced into taking some meditation time every day, but it wasn’t until after the watching the video below that I finally started to feel comfortable with it, along with that sense of “feeling lighter” that everyone talks about.
I wish I could thank my husband for this feeling, but I think most of the credit goes to short film maker Jason Headly.
He’s my spirit animal.
